Notable Major Label numbers - Kid Rock lead the pack with 170,000 sales. She Wants Revenge sold 15,000 copies.

Upcoming Releases / Predictions - New releases this week by Maritime, Moros Ero,
Gob, Intro5pect, Harlots, Thrice, Busy Signals, Gov’t Mule, Merle Haggard, the Revisions, and Steel Train. The big question is how will Thrice fair? There is no question that they are capable of selling a lot of records, but are the kids still around to pick it up? Do you think they can sell 15,000 copies? If they can do that or better, they could take the top spot. How about Maritime? They are supporting Jimmy Eat World which should help. I will say 2,800 copies.

I cannot believe Silverstein’s numbers were so low. Wow!

    Dropkick is doing really well.

I wish more people knew who Robert Pollard is. Guided By Voices were so inspirational to the true indie scene.

Parkway Drive seems a little low, as well.

Everyone is raving over the new Thrice but for the first half of the album, just go pick up a Deftones or Chevelle album and you hear what they are trying to do. The “radiohead” 2nd half of the CD is something that hasn’t grabbed me yet. It looks like there is distro problems with the album. I’ll say about 25K.

I want to say Street Dogs’ biggest is around 20,000. I may be off a bit but I don’t think they’ve cracked much higher than that.

I’d greatly appreciate it if you could update Overkill’s numbers again next week. I’m really curious to see if they manage a second week on the chart.

    As always, Thanks again!
