Did Lumberjack lose Tragic Hero Records?

Sorry if this is old news, but I never got an official deletion notice / announcement from Lumberjack Mordam. But what I did see was an ad for Tragic Hero Records and next to their logo, they had the East West logo. Those unfamiliar, Tragic Hero put out A Skylit Drive who have been one of Lumberjack’s top sellers for the past 3 or 4 months. Anyone know the scoop?

I think we need to start discussing more distributors than Lumberjack. Caroline/ ADA/ RED? We need some info from there as well.

I agree, but I don’t get the press releases for other distributors. Feel free to contribute what you know.

You probably saw the ad in AP for The Hotness…

Its true…..Tragic Hero is now part of the East West family…..I don’t know why they haven’t made any official announcement, but I know that bands like The Morning Of are already advertising their THR/East West release in Jan.

Although East West/ADA distro isn’t as strong as ADA itself, I’m happy that it’ll be a little easier to find A Skylit Drive’s album in more stores

It is true, Tragic Hero Records has officially, as of October 1st, begun distribution through East/West (Warner Bros). You can check out the official “announcement” in the NEWS / UPDATES section on the THR myspace.

Do you feel that this is the right move for THR?
What do you think of E/W? And what they’ve been doing?
