New Podcasts by G7 and Greyflight
Two of our distributed labels, G7 Welcoming Committee and Grey Flight Records, have been actively producing podcasts. Both just coincidentally posted new podcast episodes and I recommend you check them out.
G7’s podcast features tracks by Zeke, Midnite Oil, Motorhead, Sleater Kinney, and if I am reading correctly, Gwen Stefani. I am downloading it as we speak so I am not sure if that is a joke. This month they discuss issues of freedom of speech and the context surrounding the publishing of shittily-drawn cartoons depicting Muhammed. Plus they have activist and photo-journalist Jon Elmer in the studio to discuss the Israeli “disengagement” from Gaza and the Occupation in general.
Grey Flight’s podcast features the very first listen from the upcoming Cardinal Sin album and let me tell you, the track is hot! They also feature tracks by Gatsby’s American Dream, Rocket From the Crypt, Latterman, Velvet Teen, and more. Grant and Zach also let Lucas and Patrick in on the fun and even give a shout out to IndieHQ. Thanks guys!
Chris Fogal and I are planning on getting together this weekend to finally publish another edition of our Indie Nation podcast. I have also been thinking about working on a podcast that pertains to many of the topics on IndieHQ. I just need a few more hours in each day and it will be done!
